Our prevention research has a particular focus on the prevention of skin cancer, in particular melanoma. Many Australians are still getting sunburnt on a regular basis despite having good knowledge about sun-protective intentions. Skin cancer primary prevention strategies are designed to improve skin cancer risk behaviours which include reducing sun exposure and increasing sun protection.
