Dr Megan Steele is a Research Fellow within the School of Public Health and Social Work, Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation, Queensland University of Technology.
Megan’s research experience and interests relate to the role of the immune system in chronic diseases, such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as treatment-related adverse effects and quality of life.
Her current research is focused on improving the early diagnosis of lymphoedema (swelling) caused by cancer treatment and developing an understanding of important risk factors.
