A Queensland-first, the Healthy Text trial tested the impact and value of SMS-delivered messages promoting sun protection along with skin self-examination for early detection of skin cancer.
Our QUT Improving Health Outcomes for People researchers found regular personalised text reminders changed the way Queenslanders aged between 18 and 42 used sun protection and looked after their skin.
